This video is really informative. I am building my first rc plane and I needed info on transmitters before deciding to purchase one. I found one. I have not purchased it yet. Any ideas? 12CH, 2,4GHz, it has good reviews and seems to have 2.5 miles of coverage 159$. Thank you!
You was talking about a good way to start is the DX6 , what is the differences between the DX6 , DX6I , DX6E ? I'm interested in buying one just don't know the difference. Thank you for your help
I use a flysky ia10b receiver with 10 channels. It's only $19. it works great, is there a big downside to it?
Everyone has their own preference, I like the Fr Sky (Taranis X9D) with essentially unlimited channels, switches and models. I have been using them for many years and thanks to the people that do the programming and sellers like Aloft, I will use them until I die in 2068 at 125 years old. I love your videos.
I'm much more interested on how the Electrical engineers design, built the RF transmitter and how it sends the signals to the the receiver, the timing and pulses that the receiver receives, decode the command signals from the controller/transmitter. I was a US Navy Flight controls system mechanic and I am retired and into building automated aircraft using electronics flight controls system. How radars transmits the movement of the airplane.
so if I buy a plane I have to buy same type transmitter? Why not sell them with optional transmitter or without. Many don't even come with a Tx period!
He said gigawatts!! Haha. Does it have a flux capacitor?
The real people to help beyond boundaries hats off to you guys stay blessed keep up the good work love from Pakistan
My receiver is not binding with transmitter. I tried almost every protocol. Not working. Flysky CT6B transmitter
Flysky R6B receiver
No one is able to help me now. Everything is going awry. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
That you I'm very green in fact I don't even have a plain yet. 😆 but the more I watch the more excited I get for my first purchase. ☺ my cart is nice and full at your store just waiting for pay day now. The thing that's been bugging me is the hole transmitter/receiver thing. I don't make a lot of money and can't afford the super good one, but I don't want to cheap it ether. And I'll probably be getting a few of your pains over time, there are so many cool plains to choose from, it's hard just picking one. 😆
Thank you guys for all the info you put out for us sponges and giving us a great hobby to get into!
Awesome video! I'm new to rc planes and the remote was like 3rd world to me lol 12ch or something like that. Figured it out that thanks guys!
Thank You
Thanks for this video. I honestly wasn't quite sure about the Expo and dual rates initially. Thanks for explaining and so nicely demonstrating it !!
Hi I have a problem my flysky i6 transmitter will not bind with my f949s receiver I have set up the transmitter but the receiver when I put the battery in does 2 flashes stops 2flashes stops and 2flashes stops and so on I've tried all sorts but to no avail thanks think you guys are great.
Hi , how are you ?
I need you help to have small plane with equipment to help me start this project in my country me please help me…
This video was like watching and adult version of Sesame Street. And as dumb as that sounds I mean that in the nicest purest way possible. Like Bob Ross or Mr. Rogers. Absolutely not a single percent of patronizing. All instructional videos should be like this. Hell all teaching should be like this
question do you get a controller when you purchase a plane
and where is that thing about flying wings?
I remeber when I was flying 27mhz in the uk and had many different models, but I only needed one transmitter, not the ten you mentioned we needed in the olden days! It talked to whichever receiver was switched on, simple. The only things that are better in modern equipment is that you don't have to change the crystals and the aerial is much shorter.
With a transmitter from a trainer like the Aeroscout can I in the future use it to buy a BNF plane? What do I need to look for in a trainer transmitter to ensure I can reuse it for additional more advanced planes? Seems like the initial investment in a good trainer would pay dividends in the long run if I can reuse the transmitter for cheaper BNF plays to progress to.
Haven't flown for a decade but covid has given me some spare time again lol, so this was a great refresher, thanks
Can we please have an intelligent demonstration without the attempts at bumbling humor? It's annoying.
The dual rates and expo demo was outstanding. I now understand the difference.
I really enjoy your beginner flight series. Your explanations of rc flying is easy to understand with great examples and just love the advice you guys provide. Thank you for rc insights and looking forward to future episodes.
Is there an update of this video?
Thank you so much for these videos, you guys do an amazing explaining job!! One of the best ressources for beginners.
My 7-year old asks, "Why do they seem excited (brows up) throughout the video?" 😀
とても分かりやすくて感動しました。japanese
Spektrum……no thanks,Fly Sky all the way
I just bought a 59dora I having a hard time picking a transmitter now I'm going to buy other planes and I want to buy only 1 transmitter what could u advise me to buy I was thinking of get a 7 channels so I can use it with other rc stuff
Too fast, too matey, too personality based, not enough slow steady description.
I want to buy

Thanks guys. Really helpful info
frsky
I use flysky fs-i6
My first time around rc planes was with my uncle over 25 years ago. He is a tech wizard and actually wrote some of the launch code for the Nike missile systems.. but he had a transmitter that could cycle through frequencies and override or at least mess up other people's planes. He thought it was the greatest thing in the world. Lmao.
What I want to know is what are the differences between RC plane and RC car transmitter and receivers. I want to get a transmitter/receiver combo that I can use for both
Faster communication speed? LOL OK. Please qualify that…
Can you please send me yours DX6 transmitter in India at Rajasthan 330551 at Shiv colony street no. 2 house no. 516 behind peer Khanna near SSB road please send me because in India transmitter's are very very much expensive like 59000
very nice
I remember having a pin board at the flying field and a flag at the end of the antenna. How things have changed.
(11May2020) Nice to see a video on transmitters, myself i have been a RTF guy, i now would like to get a really nice transmitter but i would like a controler that can fly multiple rc, drone, airplane, helicopter, is there a transmitter that does a variety of RC like that? I would like to see a video on the different brands, frysky, flysky, radiolink, spectrum, ect, i want a good radio that will pretty much do it all if there are any that are not super expensive! Hoping you guys can answer this ? I see this is a old video as i am sitting here with coffee in hand and watching your video during the CCD or Covid-19 epidemic! Semper Fi from NEK VT! 🐾🐾🐾🇺🇸
Can you do a current transmitter review/recommendation for beginner to intermediate pilots. I need to buy a new radio and several receivers but all your reviews are fairly dated when we are talking about electronics and computerized equipment.
dude ….skinny josh is so dump ….no need for him to play dump
What about the dxe?
my first 8 channel tx and 4 servos .and rx was $800 in 1972.that was 4 weeks wages for me..Keith Australia
